This session will support teachers with the selection of rich math tasks to develop deep understanding of the identified learning outcomes of a lesson. Participants will be engaged with five practices designed to intentionally advance the discussions and learning of their students in the classroom. These practices will afford students the opportunity to think, reason, and engage effectively with complex problem solving.
Experience pattern sensing, problem-solving, higher-level thinking and even procedural fluency in a challenge rather than drills with the 24® game.
