Angie Bonthuis has been teaching kindergarten at Gilbert CSD for the past 22 years.  She is a PAEMST (Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching) awardee for 2020.  Angie achieved National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification as an Early Childhood Generalist in 2000. She received a B.S. in teaching pre-kindergarten/kindergarten children from Iowa State University in 1993 and an M.S. in education from Drake University in 2003.
